Ruth Vocational Junior College (RVJC) was established in 2007 under the umbrella of Good Samaritan Ministries (GSM) with a vision to provide quality vocational and intermediate education to students in and around Narasapuram, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh.
The institution was founded with the belief that education is one of the most powerful tools for transforming lives, families, and communities.
Named in honor of Mrs. Vijaya Ruth, RVJC was created to provide affordable, value-based, and career-oriented education for students from diverse social and economic backgrounds.

The Beginning
The college was established within the campus originally developed through Good Samaritan Ministries.
As the ministry expanded its educational outreach, the need for vocational and career-oriented education became evident.
In response, Ruth Vocational Junior College was launched in 2007 to help students pursue higher education and career opportunities while receiving personal guidance and support.

During its initial years, RVJC experienced remarkable growth.
Student enrollment steadily increased and eventually exceeded 120 students, making the institution one of the recognized vocational educational centers in the region.

Despite these challenges, the college continued its operations because of its commitment to students and community service.
While staffing and enrollment numbers changed, the institution remained active and continued supporting educational development in the region.
The college’s ability to continue operating through difficult periods reflects the dedication, sacrifice, and perseverance of its management, staff, students, and supporters.
