Our Commitment
For over 20 years, Good Samaritan Ministries (GSM) has been devoted to protecting and caring for children in need. Founded by Raj in 2005, our mission is to serve the poor and needy in and around Narasapuram town, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, India.
In 2007, we established Mother Karen’s Children Home in Narsapur, India, through a partnership between Good Samaritan Ministries India and Thomas and Tamara Slavik. The home is named in memory of Tamara’s mother (Thomas’ grandmother). This facility has various functions: it operates as a children’s home, serves as the GSM office, provides staff quarters, houses the Ruth Vocational School, and also includes a boys’ hostel.
From 2005 to 2025, GSM has supported over 2,000 children with food, accommodation, and education. The MKCH building continues to host the vocational school and boys’ hostel for 70 children.
Constructed in 2007, the MKCH building now requires assistance for maintenance, renovation, and an extension of facilities, particularly in the washroom, dormitory, and kitchen areas. We aim to renovate the building to enhance the services provided to our residents.
The Vocational School also requires assistance for maintenance, as it provides job-oriented educational courses for the poor and needy. You can support this institute by contributing towards student tuition fees, lecturer salaries, and administrative expenses. Additionally, your help can fund the provision of laboratories, furniture, infrastructure, and classroom facilities.
GSM is actively seeking partners to continue our Christian faith-based charity work, aiming to improve the local community. If you are interested in helping us build facilities for the poor and needy, as well as Christian educational institutions and dental health care, please get in touch with us at evangelistraj@gmail.com or WhatsApp +973 38958500.
