Good Samaritan Ministries was founded in 2005 by S.M.R.Raj, a dedicated visionary with a profound commitment to serving the underprivileged. Motivated by compassion and a deep-rooted desire to uplift the impoverished and needy in Andhra Pradesh State/India, Raj established this organisation to make a meaningful difference in the community.
Raj, who has a rich background in faith-based service, draws inspiration from his family’s legacy of The Salvation Army, specifically the “Children’s Home.” The establishment of “Mother Karen Children’s Home” and “Ruth Vocational Junior College,” both dedicated to transforming the lives of countless children and families in the Narasapuram area, stemmed from this foundation of service.
Through our programs, we strive to provide not only immediate relief but also sustainable opportunities for growth and development. Our mission is to empower individuals to rise above their circumstances, fostering hope and resilience within our community.
